Jacopo Romei

Jacopo Romei

I am an Italian agile coach, developer, writer and singer. I have been working as a developer since 1999 and as a full time agile coach for 7 years, coaching teams across Italy, Germany and UK.

I am an active contributor in the opensource community.
I published “Pro PHP Refactoring” (Apress), "PHP Best practices" and a paper in experimental ecology.
I helped Jurgen Appelo reviewing his ‘Management 3.0″ and belonged together with Vasco Duarte, Olaf Lewitz and Ken Power to the ALE seminal inner circle.

I am a serial speaker, regularly invited to Italian and European conferences and events about agile or lean software development and management. I also actively contribute to more than one XP User Group in Italy, the Italian PHP user group and also co-organize the Italian Agile Day 2011, the main conference about agile in Italy.

In my spare time I love downhill biking, sailing, photography and singing acappella.
