Pietro Polsinelli

Game designer, software developer, entrepreneur, book writer

Biography

I was born in Pavia in an Anglo-Italian family. I was interested in programming languages since I was 14 (it was 1981), at the time I was in London and I discovered the existence of accessible computers, the Sinclair ZX 80-81. Since then I have been interested in programming languages, recursion theory, mathematical logic, models of natural language, axiomatizations of mathematics, and adventure games.

I created Open Lab in 2001, a software & UI design company based in Florence, developing custom solutions and online services in Java and JavaScript for web & mobile.

I am a videogame designer & also teach storytelling applications in the University of Florence & Siena.
